Dave’s House
16x20", Oil on LinenOn my weekly walks through my Curtis Park neighborhood, I pass this house overlooking the then newly built Crocker Village. The sun in late afternoon turned the yellow house a deep gold. There’s something evocative about the composition, particularly with the cypress tree, that reminds me of Edward Hopper. Dave has since moved out, but the house still stands.
