Hidden City
12 x 12”,
Acrylic on Panel, 2024

The fun of painting abstracts is by starting with play or aimlessness, then seeing where your brush takes you. So that day was spent with friends painting, chatting and letting things bubble up and land. The neutral colors suggest a kind of cityscape, with sun hitting building facades. I’d wanted to juxtapose density and spaciousness.
