Orchids-a-Gogo

These white phaeleonopsis orchids were given to me after my mom passed away and I wanted to chronicle that moment. Surrounding the orchids, I created a supporting cast of smaller orchids, pansies, alstromeria, philodendrum and bay leaf branches. I felt like this was an orchestration of sorts with stops and starts, replacements and additional bit players/flowers introduced – yes like life.
