Peonies Galore
12 x 16", Oil on LinenThe peonies were blooming fast and somehow metamorphosing right before my eyes - shape shifting into full blooms and shifting color too from deeper pinks to paler whites and blush pinks. And after I’d begun, fully 2 months later, I added in some reflections and slight changes to the base creating a better frame for the blooms. This flower occupies such a special place among flower lovers!
